Ximo Canet Sanz (Alcoy, 1967) is a multidisciplinary artist with a career marked by experimentation and connection with nature. Trained at the School of Fine Arts in Alcoy and at the EASDE in Valencia and Barcelona, he has continued to develop his style in a self-taught way.
His work stands out for the use of natural painting techniques -such as tempera with pigments, earth and spices- and for his creations with oil marbling (ebru), a technique recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage.
He has exhibited individually and collectively at national and international level, and has developed numerous creative workshops in which he fuses painting with cooking, sustainability or the Mediterranean landscape.
Member of collectives such as Artambb, Art Nostre or ArtLocal, his works are part of public and private collections in different countries.
