Triga Chardonnay

The Chardonnay vineyards come exclusively from the area around the Sierra de Salinas, the Sierra de Umbria and the Sierra de la Sima at 700 meters above sea level. Its soils are poor, shallow and composed mainly of limestone, which is the parent rock. The ground is interspersed with large chunks of pure chalk. The climate is Mediterranean with continental influence. A unique microclimate that is the result of the convergence of the three aforementioned mountain ranges combined with the high altitudes typical of this sub region of Alicante. Traditional dry-farmed viticulture is practiced. Sustainable viticulture, with the utmost respect for our environment, using only natural fertilizers of organic origin. The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of August, obtaining low yields of around 2 kg per plant.
